Thanks to unrelenting public outcry, the Whittier City Council will again discuss the Greenleaf Promenade at a special meeting on Aug. 20 starting at 6 pm. We will be holding a Tree Rally in front of City Hall at 5:30 pm.  Over 6,755 people have signed the Petition to Save Our Trees in Uptown Whittier!  It is vital that residents continue to insist that the City Council REVERSE their current decision to remove ALL of the existing trees on these 3 blocks of Greenleaf Ave in the heart of Uptown!
