Many of you who have written to the Premier, the Transport minister or TfNSW have shared the responses (if any) with me and I’ve noticed the same form of words, along the lines of:

“Thank you for your correspondence…, which was referred to the Minister for Transport…I am responding to you as a representative of Transport for NSW/Ministerial Secretary/assistant.” There follow various erroneous assertions.

These really need a response back to the Premier, stating

·         I/We wrote to you because we have no confidence in TfNSW or the Minister

·         TfNSW spins mis-information.

·         Passing the buck is not acceptable.

·         TfNSW made a measurement error which condemned any scheme but its own linear model and failed to correct the error when it was pointed out by the community.

·         The required approvals have NOT been obtained. TfNSW is conflating North Sydney Council’s allowance of TfNSW’s application to Heritage NSW for a S60 assessment as approval to construct. The two are not the same. Landholder permission for construction and alienation of the parkland has NOT been obtained. (North Sydney Council must defend the community's park - it has supported the Community and opposed a linear ramp).

There is much else I could add about the genesis of Bradfield Park and its land title – but will spare you that now. The important thing to know is that landholder permission for construction has NOT been obtained.
