Despite our disappointment at North Sydney Council's majority decision to allow access to TfNSW to Bradfield Park, we battle on. One interesting detail is that Bradfield Park was vested in Council by Act of Parliament, to be held in trust for the people of North Sydney. Council has had advice that despite this, Council can deal with the land as it has. Advice obtained by the community suggests otherwise.

This view through the railway station forecourt to the bridge approaches, pylons and arch would be interrupted by a linear ramp whereas our fold back ramp nestles in nicely. Of course any new structure has an effect, the key is to find a solution that fits the "Place". The fold back ramp does. It is in an area outside the visual curtilage whereas the linear ramp causes most harm.
