Defending the Truth Online & Pushing Back Against Corporate Excuses! 💥

Hey everyone,
I wanted to give you a quick update from the front lines of our campaign. As our petition gains traction across social media and ferry forums, we are already seeing some online commentators missing the point entirely—trying to claim "dire passenger numbers" or blaming long-term historical shifts like the Channel Tunnel.
Let’s be absolutely clear: we are not letting them rewrite the narrative.
I am actively hitting back against these lazy excuses. The Dover-Calais short-sea market has very little bearing on our long-duration Western Channel routes. The numbers for Le Havre only dropped because Brittany Ferries stripped away the family cruise vessels and left us with a bare-bones freighter ship with zero amenities. Management caused the drop, and we won't let them use self-inflicted figures as a convenient excuse to axe a vital public lifeline.
We are building a strong wall of resistance here. I’ve already cornered Portsmouth City Council and our local MPs on the £24.4 million taxpayer funding contradiction, and I am not backing down.
Thank you for standing with me. Let’s turn this momentum up—please share our shortened link with one friend today so we can push past our next signature milestone! ✊🚢
