The campaign to "Save our social care: Align care and support worker pay to NHS pay bands" has been going for a little over 2 weeks.
7 days ago I proudly reported to you that 4500 people had signed the petition.
That figure now stands at 37,000!
Care workers, support workers and all those across our country who believe in the vital work we do are speaking as one.
By aligning pay to NHS pay bands, our national social care sector would never get left behind again. And both social care and the NHS would benefit accordingly.
