Thanks for all your advocacy!

Our march in the River Hill Independence Day parade today was a success. We gave out over 2,000 Hershey kisses and QR code cards linking to our NEW petition: https://chng.it/kKytz5Rwrn We've already seen an uptick in petition signatures with over 100 today alone.

If you have not already signed the second petition above, please take a moment now to read and sign it. After you've signed, please share the petition with your spouse, significant other, family members, friends, neighbors, and other Howard County residents. Ask them to sign too.

Our timeline is short. Next Thursday, July 13th is the last school board meeting before the new school year. We need the board to make a motion and vote that night to suspend school bus cuts for at least a year.

If you want to take the extra step after you have shared the petition with your local Howard County contacts, please also consider making this request directly to the Board of Education by e-mailing boe@hcpss.org. You can also register to speak on the night of July 13th in support of making such a motion by e-mailing boardoffice@hcpss.org.

As always, please feel free to reach out with questions and ideas: neighbors4buses@gmail.com.

Happy 4th to All!
Corinne
