"Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer was interviewed on CNN about relief from lost business due to the coronavirus. As part of the Workers’ First initiative, his legislation proposes significant relief for SELF-EMPLOYED WORKERS and INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS. It also includes provisions for relief for SMALL BUSINESSES like Salons, Rep Groups, Distributors and Brands. The Senate is working on the final language and voting today after which it will go back to the House for reconciliation.
Please call and/or email your U.S. Senators now. Tell them who you are and where your business is. Share how this economic crisis is impacting you. Ask your Senator to please include the beauty industry in coronavirus relief legislation. No clients means you do not make any money!
