As previously advised, the Pool Petition — along with approximately 1,600 online signatures of support — was submitted to Council on 4 December 2025.

Important to note: Council has now confirmed that your signature WILL NOT be counted unless you have provided all of the following details:

• Full name
• Full residential address
• Email address

This means that if you ONLY signed the Change.org petition, your signature does NOT count. To ensure your support is recognised by Council, you MUST complete the Google form, which collects the required information.

At the time the petition was submitted, only about 200 of the 1,600 online supporters had completed the Google form with the information Council requires.

Council has requested that all required details be provided by 12:00pm on 11 December 2025.

Please complete the Google form as soon as possible so your support for the Pool Petition is counted in Council’s consideration.

Earlier today, I also submitted approximately 520 handwritten signatures in support of the petition. The required Council information was requested from all handwritten signatories and was provided in most cases.
