Friends of Fernglade believe that a more coordinated and effective approach is being undertaken in caring for Fernglade Reserve, as a result of this petition and community support. One phone number (131 444) to report all issues arising at Fernglade, and increased promotion of this number, will also assist community participation in caring for the area. It will also enable statistics to be gathered re particular issues, and assist with management planning. FOF would like to thank all of the stakeholders for their participation and input in addressing our concerns, and look forward to working with them in the long term care of this very special area.
