A lot has changed since February 2025. AI data centers are now one of the biggest environmental and community issues in the country, and it's much bigger than one company.

Here's the good news: public pressure is working.

Since we launched, Microsoft, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Amazon have all made public pledges about their data centers' energy, water and communities.

So we've updated this petition to ask every major AI company to turn those promises into one clear standard we can all check: show the numbers, pay their own way, commit to clean energy with real dates, and put communities first.
