Dear all,

I hope this email finds you well. I wanted to provide you with a quick update on the committee meeting held last night.

Unfortunately, the committee councillors decided to vote in agreement with the officers' recommendation to refuse planning permission. While we did have the support of a few councillors who voted in favour of granting planning permission, it was not enough to secure a favourable outcome.

To be honest, I am not surprised by this refusal. Throughout the entire planning application process, we have faced significant resistance from the council. Despite our best efforts to collaborate with them on various issues, we were unable to reach an agreement regarding the containers.

Gedling's stance is to remove ALL containers, whereas our position is that we require containers to operate a safe business.

Considering the above, we have made the decision to appeal this outcome and fight until the very end. We believe that the appeals process will offer a fairer platform without any conflicts of interest.

For the appeal, we would greatly appreciate your support by providing letters of recommendation and positive comments. We have never needed letters of support more than now! If you are willing to contribute in this way, please send all emails to aaron@b2b-events.co.uk

Thank you for your unwavering support thus far. Together, we will continue to pursue our cause and strive for a favourable resolution along with, most importantly, the survival of our business and being able to continue offering the events and facilities to our many guests.

Best regards,

Notts Maze
