Sir Lenny Henry donates books to our mobile library!

After contacting Sir Lenny Henry’s agent, Sir Lenny Henry’s Publisher replied and donates books to our mobile library!

“I'm getting in touch from Sir Lenny's publisher, Macmillan Children's Books. Lenny is a big champion of libraries, almost every time he is interviewed about his children's books he mentions how much he went to Dudley Library as a child.

I would like to send a package to you of The Boy with Wings samplers and stickers based on You Can Do Anything, Tyrone for you to share with the mobile library”

Lenny Henry is quoted as saying: "Dudley Library nurtured me as a reader. My Aunty Pearl joined me up and got me a library card and suddenly I was in this world of stories – and it changed my life."
