I’ve had it confirmed that following the recommendation from the scrutiny committee to have a re-think of closing the mobile libraries and to do more research before making a decision, the mobile libraries will be back on the cabinet’s agenda, which is coming up very soon on 11th October.
Unfortunately there is not an opportunity to speak in public contributions, only the opportunity to ask questions which can be emailed in and will be circulated to everyone at the meeting along with the written response from the council officer.
Questions can be asked by any member of the public and there is no requirement to attend the meeting.
The deadline for questions to be sent in is this Thursday 5th October at 12noon and can be emailed to Karen.Strahan@devon.gov.uk
