Downing Street Here We Come With Your Signatures!

Silver Voices intends to hand in the 'save our landlines' petition, with your signature on it, to the Prime Minister very soon. We have applied for a date in mid-June to deliver it to 10 Downing Street, before any Labour Party leadership battle starts! We will request the Prime Minister to intervene with the telecoms industry to delay the deadline for scrapping traditional landlines until at least 2030. 

In the meantime can you please support our new petition highlighting another major problem with the digital revolution?  Alicia's petition seeks to save access to cash and stamp out discriminatory app-only payment systems. The UK Government is doing nothing to stop businesses and public services insisting that payments are made by online methods only.
