Ferruginous Hawk -Largest in North America- Tri-City Herald 8-2021

The Ferruginous hawk has been declared endangered spices in Washington state in 2021. Their breeding grounds are in the Benton and Franklin counties. This announcement was to bring more visibility and prompt more steps to protect the hawks. These hawks seek out grassland and shrubsteppe in our horse heaven hills to nest and raise their young.

Will the environmental impact statement take this into account the damage and destruction to the shrubsteppe in the horse heaven hills? Or will the green energy ruse with the tax subsidies and tax credits be the driver on the approval?
