This road project was "paused" by Steve Balich (Will County rep and Homer Township Supervisor) at a Public Works and Transportation Meeting in Joliet, Illinois.

This temporary hold will not be forever, as the consulting firm is in Phase I and will continue their reports and surveys as soon as the county releases the "hold".

We need the support of tree huggers, environmentalists, anyone who enjoys the beauty of nature, and those who appreciate a scenic drive through a historically, agriculturally magnificant area! There is no need to rip up this Crossroad Community trail, which dates back to the early settlers and Native American's.
