Protect Bolton le Sands & Slyne with Hest from overdevelopment!

Our greenbelt is under threat.  Large-scale developments on the green belt surrounding Bolton le Sands and Slyne with Hest would destroy the natural beauty and wildlife habitats of this gateway to the Lake District.

The infrastructure to support the influx of up to 400 new families does not exist within the two parishes

Doctors, Schools, Dentists, drainage, access, traffic, parking and local roads are not adequate to support a large scale increase in development. 

We need to prevent urban sprawl, preserve the unique identity of each historic settlement, village and town - we need your support whether you live here or elsewhere.  Please, if you are facing the same issue in your area, if you live here or if you are sympathetic to saving our vital greenbelt land, sign this petition.
