Say NO MORE to these in our Countryside!!

No Brownfield sites left in Pendle or Burnley to build these, Investor led,  industrial scale developments.

There will be no one within the public realm of Pendle or Burnley benefit from these developments.

Investors & Developers will cream off returns to cover their monetary investment & have a financial return over the so called ( 40yr temporary ) development. The cost of our electricity will never reduce. Look around not just locally but nationally on the huge schemes which have been developed & connected to our national grid. Have your costs reduced...NO ...

Unfortunately, our Green Belt, Ecology, Biodiversity & Rural settings will now be at extreme risk of planning applications. Where there will be substantial encroachment & loss to our Green Fields & uninterrupted views. 

As of September this year 2024 the UK grid has 112GW of installed capacity. There are 527GW of queued generation & storage capacity, waiting to be connected, applications to be granted & those to have confirmed connections.

With supplied data from government sites we have in the queue, 275GW of additional over supply to meet Net Zero targets for 2050.   

Broken down, there are 527GW of queued generation. 144GW of wind. 149GW of solar, 158GW of storage & 76GW of other generation.

An example of a 99MW storage fascility is equivilant to 0.06% of the 158GW, 158,000MW  required for storage alone.

1000MW is equal to 1GW, so you can see, we have 275,000MW of additional over supply.

Industrial scale operations globally have been using Hydrogen for many decades.

British gas are now installing gas / hydrogen boilers..

Scientists, developers, & other countries are now putting £billions into fascilities, research for using Hydrogen to support our long term future.

We do not need to mine for Lithium, Cobalt to make our batteries.

Lets go cleaner energy, NO MORE renewable energy.....there is too much in the system at this present time & an over surplus of Wind, Solar & Battery Storage to meet Net Zero 2050.
