Dear Supporters! 

Appreciate everyone of you, just needed to provide an UPdate.  

The District is Being VERY QUIET About Funding, and It appears that The Board President is Blowing HOT AIR!!    THrough this process, we've learned that their is a real shortage in Music participation, only 25% of students receive the services, but it's part of a "specified IEP" elective process to even have music.  It shouldn't Take an IEP for Our students to receive Music, the District Could Afford it!

The President stated on a may14th email, that he'd put the resolution on an agenda, and as recently as last month, still speaking of the resolution, but now, it appears nothing is happening!  

We need INCREASED support, Please ask all you know to Sign this Petition.  You can also email the president directly at sam.davis@ousd.org to ask for the Music Mandate through Prop 28 Funding, there's also additional grant amounts as well. 

The district Owes it to our Students to Repair Decades of Harm caused by their inactions to support our most vulnerable students.  We are still short many signatures, if everyone could just get 1 person to sign, Hope all is well, and  Blessings to ALL.
