Closing this petition — thank you for standing with me

Dear Supporters,

I want to sincerely thank each of you for signing and sharing this petition to save the Redmond Fred Meyer. In just one month, we gathered 380 signatures and many heartfelt comments. This shows how deeply our community cares about keeping this essential store open.

I spoke at both Sammamish and Redmond City Council meetings and shared your voices directly with local leaders. Sammamish officials expressed interest in working with Redmond, but unfortunately, I have not seen meaningful action or follow-up from the City of Redmond.

It is with sadness and disappointment that I must now close this petition. We raised our voices, but the response from those in a position to act has not matched the concern our community showed. Still, I am grateful that together, we made it clear this store matters, and I hope city leaders will remember the strength of this response in future decisions.
