Update #2: Thank You and Next Steps

Dear Supporters,

I want to thank each of you for standing with our community. Thanks to you, our petition has now gathered 350 signatures along with heartfelt comments that show just how important the Redmond Fred Meyer is to our daily lives.

Over the past week, I have spoken at both the Sammamish (Sept 9) and Redmond (Sept 16) City Council meetings to make sure our voices are heard. Sammamish city leaders responded with interest and support, and I have urged Redmond to work together with Sammamish and engage directly with Kroger on possible solutions.

We haven’t heard back from Redmond yet, but this is just the beginning. The more signatures and visibility we have, the stronger our message becomes. Please help us by sharing this petition with your neighbors, friends, and local groups so we can continue to grow — every new signature makes a difference.

This fight is about more than one store. It’s about protecting essential services for our families and sending a clear message that our community deserves to be heard.
