To all of my friends, enemies, and future friends in the “so-called” LGBTQIA+ Community,

It is with mixed emotions that I have decided to step up for the thus far silent and sane majority of us Gays, Lesbians, Bisexuals, and Allies who have stuck with us through the recent madness. Over the past 5 years or so, there has been a hijacking of the original GLB Rights Movement, which fought for equality, under the law, for Gays, Lesbians, and Bisexuals. Rights like the right to marry who we want and to receive the tax benefits, employer benefits, and the same rights that heterosexual couples were afforded. We fought to end conversion therapy and “gay camps.” We fought to be recognized as normal people who simply love the same sex. 

Sadly, that idea and spirit has been taken advantage of by people with fringe ideology and an eye for converting children in our name. At the risk of being labeled a transphobe and a bigot, I am here to say that Transgenderism, Queerness, Gender Fluidity, Inter-sexuality, Furries, Minor-Attracted-Persons, and any of the other +’s I’m forgetting are Identities they are NOT sexualities or “gender preferences” and the goals and what these people advocate for are incompatible with the spirit and morals of the vast majority of Gays, Lesbians, and Bisexuals, world-over. 

In my research for this paper, I learned that this hijacking began with our flags. The Gay Men’s flag was changed from a 7-banded flag with blues and a white center line to the 7-banded teal and indigo-purple flag you see today. The Lesbian Woman’s Flag went from the one commonly referred to as the “Lipstick-Lesbian” flag (minus the lips), to the orange and mauve flag you see now. These flags were changed to be “more inclusive” and welcome our trans brothers and sisters into the fold, only to be called bigots for not being sexually attracted to them.

To send a clear message that we DO NOT agree with the TQ+ agenda and that Gays, Lesbians, and Bisexuals want a FORMAL and FINAL DIVORCE, I am launching a campaign to SAVE OUR FLAGS.

We are not aligned in goals, values, or in advocating for equality, not special treatment. The “Pride” flag stopped representing me the second they came for kids, and I know many of you feel the same.

It is time to take back our flags, formally divorce from Identity politics, and I want an emoji flag that represents me! They have a rainbow 🏳️‍🌈 and a trans 🏳️‍⚧️ flag, where are the gay, lesbian, and bisexual flags? Neither of the available options speak to my values.

With enough signatures, we can send a powerful message to the media, to the allies we lost due to an encroachment upon our morality, and to the people who continue to think it’s okay to carry out modern-day conversion therapy on healthy “confused” straight, gay, lesbian, and bisexual children. It is not okay, and it is beyond time we spoke up. Fight for GLB rights, fight for morality.

 

 

 

These flags advocate against gay-phobia, demonization of us by accusing us of child molestation, sadism, and other perversions. They stand for “cis-gay, lesbians, and bisexuals” who have the courage to stand up against those who would have told us that we were simply born in the wrong body and needed to sterilize ourselves with chemical castrations and opposing-sex hormones to right God’s and our parent’s wrongs.

We fought against the wrongs of Eugenics and Conversion Therapy, terrible efforts to take our “undesirable” traits and bring them into conformity through forced sterilization and torturous “therapeutic interventions.” Yet, we allow that same mindset to be applied today under the guise of trans-inclusion. 

In reality, trans-inclusion and promoting the TQ+ agenda is gay and lesbian erasure. They started with our flags, and they have told us all, point blank, that they are coming for the children. Enough is enough, we must loudly and proudly separate ourselves from the movement they have so successfully taken over.

I invite you to take a look at the references I came across in my brief research on this matter and the history of our flags. Note the largest advocate rights organizations don’t even acknowledge the existence of our true flags. Let’s change that.
