--54 North Delano neighbors turned out Tuesday night (July 26) to share their opposition to NAI Martens' apartment project.  Council Member Maggie Ballard was there to listen to our speakers.  And speak we did:  Delano neighbors spoke eloquently about their love for their neighborhood, our lack of parks and other green space and how the loss of this particular space will harm the whole N Delano community.  The pic is by Christopher Parisho, Delano Neighborhood Assoc President.

--Now that you've signed the petition there are a couple of other things you can do to help.  Please share it to others and ask them to sign, even if you've done it before.  We now have over 600 signers, we'd like to get several hundred more.

--Email our 6th District Council member Maggie Ballard (mballard@wichita.gov).  Please send the Mayor an email as well (bwhipple@wichita.gov).  If you live outside the 6th District email your own City Council member--they will all get to vote on it.  Ask them to deny NAI Martens application to rezone the Delano green space (PUD2022--00011).
