( DONT FORGET TO VERIFY YOUR EMAIL ) This is a petition about Newfield Secondary School. They are limiting our creative rights! The new headteacher , has decided to change the week  so we have less Drama and Music 🎵 and instead we have English or Maths. Now the reason this is unfair is that in (mine and probably many others opinions) is that more lessons won’t make people understand the subject more . It will make people more bored, because who is going put effort in a subject that people don’t  like . Another point is that students will be more likely to misbehave and distract others from learning when not given the subject they want or most prefer.

ALL WE WANT IS OUR CREATIVE SUBJECTS

I’ve seen a comment saying write a letter which i totally agree on, but I’m going to try and get signatures to back up evidence and facts and then go to the headteacher. 

Hello , potential supporters I wanted to inform you that they are also doing this to technology and computing . For yr8‘s going on yr9‘s  they have said that students have to choose 2 out of the 4 subjects that I have listed (technology, computing, music and drama). This means the yr9‘s won’t go on to the potential paths they might’ve wanted to do in gcse. The years below (7 and 8) will now be doing the carousel rotation which still means less time in those subjects.All of this will (if we don’t stop this) means more English and maths , which yes are most definitely important but so are the other subjects!
