I've released a song today about my experience of the Family Courts...

Hi all! Before I type this, please don't think I'm just trying to shamelessly push my music. If this doesn't interest you then please do ignore it. Of course as a musician I want my music heard, but ultimately I want it heard by the right people, not just anyone!
So after our case ended (and as I'm sure you're aware, I'm not allowed to give details on any of it, because God forbid there is any transparency in the Family Courts, people might see what happens...) my daughter and I are trying to rebuild ourselves.
We've both had therapy, and that can help... but through out my life I have found that writing it all down gets it out of my head. And turning it all into a song means I get to shout it out loud and OWN IT.
So that's what I did, I wrote a song. And as you can probably imagine, it was the angriest song I have ever written.
If you would like to hear it, it's out today on all streaming sites (or you can also hear it on www.wdkyband.com It's called "Four Years In Hell", and the band name is "What Doesn't Kill You".
I am hoping it might help some of you, to see you aren't alone in feeling this way. Everyone the Family Courts touches come away seriously damaged. Even the "winners" do.
Sometimes being able to scream along to a song that's saying exactly how you feel can help - it's always helped me when I find a song where I can relate to the lyrics.
So please go have a listen. And if you're not interested please ignore this!
This petition lives on - I am determined to get this heard in Parliament.
Things desperately need to change...
