Sadly the Whipton Children's Centre is closing September 2024.

It's been serving families for more than 30 years. The health visitor hub is located there and also groups for babies and toddlers, including Action for Children and Early Years Complex Needs Service.

If it's shut down, then there will be nowhere local to support families and children.

Currently there are only 3 Childrens Centres in Exeter.

Whipton, Exwick and Magnolia Av.

There are over 8,000 houses being built in Cranbrook and about another 100 units currently being constructed literally opposite the Whipton Children's Centre, so we need it to stay open to be able to support all the families with children in these areas.

Please sign this petition to prevent the closure of the Children's Centre.
