Dear Friends of Dowses Beach:

A quick update: We are well on our way to demonstrating SIGNIFICANT community opposition to the planned commandeering of our beloved Dowses Beach so that an out-of-state utility company, Connecticut’s Avangrid Renewables, can pad their bottom line. Thank you so much for lending your name to the cause by signing our petition on Change.org.

We have successfully achieved an extension of the period for commenting on Avangrid’s s initial filing with the Massachusetts Environmental Protection Agency, and are planning a comprehensive response.
