We must ensure that Traci Park and the city planners are aware that we are opposed to the upzoning of our neighborhood. Your presence at the rally is vital, along with bringing a sign displaying your message of protest. It is crucial to demonstrate that we represent a substantial collective of neighbors, rather than just a handful of disgruntled residents.
There will be a large group of people present during the meeting who support the density districts - many of whom do not live in our community. We need to stand united and strong - creating a density district in Osage is a nonstarter!
Directly afterward, the Ad Hoc Committee meeting is at 6:30 PM at the same location.
We ARE for fair housing - but we need a sensible plan. Low-income density districts are NOT sensible!
