The original Call of Duty titles continue to hold a meaningful place in the gaming community, with many still attracting over 1,000 active multiplayer players each day. For countless fans, these games represent years of dedication, memories, and significant personal investment of both time and money.
Unfortunately, for accounts created after a certain date, player data can no longer be retained. This results in a loss of core functionality for games that players have legitimately purchased and continue to support, diminishing the experience they’ve cherished for years.
As a devoted player of over 15 years, I stand alongside a passionate and loyal community in respectfully asking Activision, the Call of Duty franchise, and PlayStation to consider providing an update to the games or their servers to address this issue—one that has already been resolved on earlier Microsoft Xbox platforms.
We hope our continued dedication, loyalty, and love for these classic titles is seen and valued, and that together we can preserve the experiences that helped define a generation of gaming.
