Northfield's new ward councillor, Esther Rai, has today presented our petition to a Meeting of the City Council. Once combined with the paper petition, have 1,109 signatures.

Presenting the petition will mean that we get an official response from the relevant Cabinet Member.

Further to this, both Councillor Rai and the Laurence Turner MP, Birmingham Northfield's new MP, attended last Saturday's public meeting of the Friends of Northfield Library.

We will publicise future public meetings through these updates.
