Key points:

    •    Copies for the Board Meeting: I will bring printed copies to the 1/15 board      meeting and distribute them to the board members.

Timeline Discrepancies:

    •    Brewster Proposal was sent to the AD on 12/13/2024.

    •    Somers Proposal was sent on 12/17/2024.

    •    AD Kiernan claimed Somers letter was received the day after John Jay dropped us and she signed letter on 1/7/2025. Why is she misleading parents?

Letter of Intent Issues:

    •    Signed on 1/2/2025 by AD Kiernan, Superintendent VanDerStryuf, and Principal DiGrandi.

    •    References only Varsity and JV teams—no mention of modified teams or the Taconic Youth League program (and its fees).

    •    Enrollment projections show just one JV player and zero Varsity players.

Transportation Oversight:

Disclosed by the NS head of transportation to me on 1/13.

    •    North Salem Transportation confirmed they have NOT been contacted by the AD or BOE about busing for this program.

    •    The 2025 school year will start 30 minutes later, creating additional scheduling conflicts for sports transportation due to staffing shortages.

    •    These logistical challenges should have been addressed before program approval.

This is clear evidence of deception by AD Kiernan. I will be demanding answers at Wednesday’s meeting.
