SAVE NORTH BRISBANE MOTORCYCLE CLUB

The issue

Save North Brisbane Junior Motorcycle Club – Protect the Future of Dirt Track Racing in Queensland!

North Brisbane Junior Motorcycle Club (NBJMCC) has been the beating heart of dirt track and speedway racing in Queensland for many years – a proud, inclusive, and family-focused club that has supported generations of riders from their first laps to the national stage.

Now, our future is under serious threat.

Brisbane City Council has advised that the land we lease is being sold, putting our club and the vital programs and events we run at risk of disappearing forever.

NBJMCC is more than just a racetrack. We are:

A home for junior riders to learn and grow in a safe, structured environment

A fully inclusive community welcoming families, women, and people of all backgrounds

A club that proudly hosts Queensland and Australian Dirt Track Championships every year

A grassroots organisation that has produced multiple Australian champions

A lifeline for over five motorcycle clubs in SEQ and a key part of the state’s motorcycling community

Our sport teaches discipline, teamwork, responsibility, and resilience. NBJMCC gives young people a place to belong, to compete, and to thrive – on and off the track.

This isn’t just about losing a patch of land. It’s about losing a sporting institution, a youth development hub, and a family that spans across Queensland and beyond.

We are calling on Brisbane City Council and the Queensland Government to:

Stop the sale of our facility

Work with us to secure long-term tenure

Recognise the cultural and sporting value NBJMCC brings to our region

We need your voice to be heard.

Sign this petition to show your support for NBJMCC and the future of dirt track and speedway racing in Queensland. Help us protect this vital space so we can continue developing champions, building community, and inspiring the next generation.
