A response dated 18 January, has been received to an email sent to Jeremy Hunt's office, which states that the Department of Health plans to conduct a consultation on whether to continue funding NHS Homeopathy. "The Department of Health has a duty to make sure that NHS funds are spent on the most effective treatments, and is considering whether or not homeopathic products should be available through NHS prescriptions in primary care.
