The Issue

The attempt to overturn Net Neutrality deeply affects us all. On the surface it seems driven by corporate greed. However at more depth involves the suppression of rights, freedom of speech, and ability to access information freely. It is expected the recent restoration of net neutrality will be overturned and we cannot let this happen. We must refuse to allow corporations to manipulate our justice system so as to exploit we the people by infringing on consumer rights as well as our protected constitutional freedoms guaranteed in the 1st Amendment.

FCC Suffers Major Setback in Attempt to Defend Net Neutrality

The overturning of Net Neutrality will put the power back into the hands of the Internet Service Providers [ISPs], allowing them to manipulate our internet access and usage for profit, invade our privacy by collecting and selling our personal information; overturning net neutrality also benefits those in power who wish to control the narrative. This ruling would stifle innovation, limit access to knowledge and information, and lead to even larger divides among people based on income disparity. It also poses a threat to suppress press freedom that is the cornerstone of democracy.

Free Press Allies Defend FCC's Net Neutrality Rules in Court

I invite you to join us to protest against this corporate greed and corruption at the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati Oct 28 - Nov 1st with oral arguments scheduled to take place Thursday October 31st starting at 8:30am EST. Our presence will send a clear message that we the people demand Net Neutrality be preserved. It will remind judges who they really serve *We The People* and that the rights of we the people to freedom and information should take priority over profits.

If we don't show up the ISPs are expected to win. We can NOT let that happen! We must stand together and support our allies in this critical fight for net neutrality because united we the people have the power. United for free speech we the people ultimately can and WILL prevail!

We are at a critical juncture for our country. It is up to us We The People to save our own Democracy. We must demand impartiality, transparency, and accountability. Now is the time to engage and to task ourselves with protecting our rights by becoming active participants and reinforcing the core principles such as freedom and justice at the root of our Democracy.
