Firstly, THANK YOU for signing this petition as it means the world to our family as well as our habitat.
We got a publication on NNY360 (Link below) :
We have sent a slew of messages to NRCS, DEC, state and city reps, city council, radio, and a few others via emails and phone calls. We are waiting to see responses.
We have started to regroup post mourning this loss. Our base level compost based soil was disturbed, the milkweeds that had caterpillars were entirely chopped and removed. We are beginning to install multiple higher based raised beds. More no trespassing signs will be put up as well. We are going to try and reestablish best we can. We see our pollinators coming back multiple times a day to check and see if there are changes. So we took must be resilient. We planted a flower bed and got a few already established flowers in to help along.
