Update:

If you weren't already convinced of Netflix's utter disregard for The Chronicles of Narnia, the announcement that Meryl Streep will be voicing none other than Aslan, perhaps the most integral character in the entire cast, should be enough to cement the notion.

It is Netflix we're talking about, so I suppose it won't come as a shock to learn that we may or may not be getting a female Aslan. But it's no less revolting.

This petition hasn't even reached 100 names, yet that's not important. Suppose we reached 10,000 signatures? I expect that Netflix couldn't care less either way.

However, it's the principle of the thing.

Someone ought to stand against the heinous hijacking of wholesome things by so-called 'woke' organizations.

Though one small voice is drowned out in the contrary crowd, it doesn't change the words spoken. It matters not the outcome, but that a stand was taken. For, as Reepicheep said, we have nothing if not belief.
