UNESCO is paying attention

Dear Petitioners,

Thanks to almost 8000 signatures, 20K views, and work by Lebanese on the ground who also wrote to UNESCO, there is progress and UNESCO is listening with care and concern for the site which is unique and listed in the Memory of the World Program since 2005. 
Please continue to put pressure on the ground. A gathering is taking place tomorrow Tuesday March 10 in front of the National Museum at 1:00pm to voice continued concern about the safeguard of Nahr el Kalb and to demand that all construction be stopped. Please share and bring your friends. LET’s Save Nahr el Kalb together!
