As many of you know the hearing for the pending dismissal was held August 25.
Sue Mead, myself and the President of the Magothy River Association were all present and ready to make our statement. Unfortunately the Board of Appeals had other plans and while they read the request by Mr. Sanders to allow our substitution they did not allow any of us to speak. The lawyer for the developer made his case and the Board granted the motion to dismiss on a procedural technicality and without having all the facts. They were aware that we had information to share and a statement to read but at their discretion chose not to hear us. To say the least, it was a very frustrating and disappointing evening.
