We are asking the Cedar Grove Town Council and Cedar Grove Historical Society to reverse their decision to expel farmer John Ostering and shut down Morgan's Farm and stand.

BACKGROUND:

In a letter dated October 25, 2022 the Cedar Grove Historical Society informed farmer John Ostering that his services as a farmer at Morgan’s Farm were no longer needed and he was to remove all personal belongings and return his keys. After much public outcry, he received an unreasonable ‘contract’ outlining the conditions with which he could continue to work with the farm. He signed that contract accepting all of the conditions, except for payment for services, which he declined. The historical society rejected the signed contract and informed him that they were "terminating all farming activities" and he was to remove any final belongings from Morgan's Farm by the end of January.

Unless there is a massive public outcry Morgan's Farm will no longer operate  and the beloved farm stand will be no more. Please sign and share.
