Dear Sheffield residents,

We are writing to you today to draw attention to the injustice that has been done to the hardworking stall owners at Sheffield Moor stalls. For years, these dedicated individuals have been coming to work every day, rain or shine, to support their families and serve their community. But now, due to the actions of NewRiver, the owner of The Moor, their livelihoods are at risk.

NewRiver has ordered that stalls be removed from its property for three days a week - Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday - in a move that has devastated the income of many stall owners. In fact, some have lost up to 65% of their customers, putting their ability to provide for their families in jeopardy.

And why has this happened? To 'enhance' the area, according to NewRiver. However, it is clear that this decision has had the opposite effect, leaving hardworking stall owners struggling to make ends meet.

What's even more concerning is that NewRiver has not offered these stall owners an alternative, leaving them to fend for themselves.

We are calling on NewRiver to reconsider its decision and find a way to support these hardworking stall owners. We believe that they deserve better, and we urge the people of Sheffield to stand with us in support of these dedicated individuals.
