Dear supporters,

More than 7,500 people  have already signed this petition, yet the decision-makers remain silent. In a healthy democracy, the voices of thousands of concerned citizens should never go unheard—especially when the future of students, educators, employees, and their families is at stake.

The proposed demolition of Mohammad Ali Jauhar University, Rampur, threatens far more than buildings. It puts the education of thousands of students, the research work of scholars, and the livelihoods of university staff and their families—including women and children—at serious risk.

Established in 2006, Mohammad Ali Jauhar University has grown into a respected centre of higher education and research. Reducing such an institution to rubble over mapping approval issues would cause irreversible social, educational, and economic damage.

If there are procedural irregularities, they should be resolved through lawful and humane measures, including compounding or other legal remedies where applicable—not by destroying an entire educational institution and jeopardizing countless lives.

Before any irreversible action is taken, the authorities must answer some fundamental questions:

* Who will safeguard the academic future of the students?
* Who will compensate for the enormous educational and economic loss?
* Who will provide employment to the staff who may lose their livelihoods?
* Who has assessed the social and economic consequences of such a demolition?

Development authorities must not overlook the human cost of their decisions. Public administration should serve justice, proportionality, and the larger public interest.

Your signature matters. Every new signature strengthens this call for dialogue, fairness, and a solution that protects education, employment, and the future of thousands of innocent people.

Please sign this petition and share it with your family, friends, colleagues, and social networks. Together, we can urge the authorities to choose a humane, lawful, and constructive solution instead of irreversible destruction.

Every signature is a voice for justice. Every share helps this message reach someone who can make a difference.

Together, let us protect education, uphold human rights, and ensure that justice prevails.

Thank you for standing with us.
