At Memphis Street Academy (MSA), we know learning doesn’t happen in isolation. That’s why, even in the face of uncertainty, we continue to show up as a stabilizing force in our students’ lives and the broader Kensington community.

This fall, we deepened our commitment by launching the Wildcat Pantry, a student-led initiative in partnership with Rep. Jim Harrity and Caring for Friends that provides weekly meals-to-go for those in need. It's a “neighbors helping neighbors” model that empowers our students to serve the community while learning valuable leadership skills.

We’ve also expanded our on-site Student-Based Health Center, providing full-spectrum physical, mental, and preventive care at no cost to families. From managing chronic asthma and administering daily medication to conducting mental health screenings and dental checkups, we’re removing the barriers that keep students out of school. For working families, it means peace of mind. Students receive care during the school day; parents keep working. The result: higher attendance and fewer disruptions at home and in classrooms—benefits that reach every family we serve. These supports reinforce what our community already knows: MSA is not closing. We are growing our services and impact, investing in each child and family.
