Martin “Chico” Ross has spent years giving back to the children of his community by opening his backyard hockey rink to kids of all backgrounds. His rink provides a safe, fun, and inclusive space for children to be physically active, learn the game of hockey, and stay off their screens. Many underprivileged kids have had the chance to experience the sport they love thanks to Chico’s generosity.

But now, this cherished rink is at risk of being torn down for no valid reason and despite there being no bylaws that prohibit it.
