One Year Later: A Victory in Motion for Medical Cannabis in Malaysia 🌿

One year later, after numerous efforts to discuss with the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) we stepped into a crucial meeting with MOH to present our case on 7th March 2025 — to remove cannabis from the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and classify it under the Poisons Act 1952, Group B, Part 1.

📌 On 7 March 2025, we discussed at MOH, Putrajaya:

The overwhelming scientific evidence supporting the use of medical cannabis to treat depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and epilepsy.

The need to decriminalize patients and give them safe, legal access to treatment.
The global movement toward health-focused cannabis laws, with Malaysia having the potential to lead Southeast Asia.

💥 And here’s the BIG news: ➡️ The Ministry of Health has now appointed a certified doctor to prescribe medical cannabis. This is a major step forward — and it only happened because you stood with us.
