This week, I took my petition to the Federal Parliament in Canberra where it was tabled by Greens Foreign Affairs Spokesperson, Senator Jordon Steele-John.

Every step forward is such a blessing. This has been possible thanks to the thousands of Australians who have already signed my petition. 

I’m grateful to the Senator for announcing his political sponsorship of Majid. I know this has worked for other political prisoners in Iran. I feel like my dear cousin Majid has taken one step closer to freedom and justice.
