We, the undersigned residents, visitors, and supporters of Machynlleth, call on decision-makers to take immediate action to secure the future of Machynlleth Leisure Centre, an essential facility that serves as a hub for health, well-being, and community connection in our town and surrounding areas.Why Machynlleth Leisure Centre Matters

Promoting Health and Well-being: The leisure centre provides vital facilities for physical exercise and mental well-being for people of all ages and abilities. It supports residents in maintaining healthy lifestyles, which is especially critical in rural areas with limited alternatives.

Fostering Community Connection: From swimming lessons for children to exercise classes for older adults, the centre is a place where people from all walks of life come together. It is not just a leisure facility but a cornerstone of community life.

Supporting Local Schools and Sports Clubs: The leisure centre plays a crucial role in supporting schools, youth groups, and local sports teams by providing a space for training, education, and recreational activities.
