Due to inflation, cost of living post covid, our local stores and businesses are facing closure unless Scottish government and local council recognise the difficulties and need for support.

Electric costs for business are increasing 120% which are crippling our communities.

Our local Geek Retreat are, not only a local business,   but a hub for all walks of life in Galashiels and across the Scottish Borders.

After school clubs, quiz nights, Dungeons and dragons all happen under this roof but attract other groups through its doors for hidden disability, LGBTQI, Autism and learning difficulties.  A local Hub to relax, play games, enjoy a coffee and enjoy the atmosphere. 

This could all cease due to the increasing business rates and electricity costs.

Where are we going to go?!

Please sign our petition to support ALL Local Businesses otherwise, there will be nowhere left to go in any of our local town centres within the Scottish Borders. 

Scottish Borders Council and local MPs should be more aware of how dangerously high the local businesses are to closing the high streets of the Borders. HELP THEM STAY ALIVE!!
