As your Almondbury Ward Councillor, I am up for Re-Election on Thursday May 6th. I hope I can count on your support, so I continue to campaign for you and local residents who are against Kirklees Labour Council allowing 851 houses to be built in Lepton & Fenay Bridge.

Afraid, it looks like the Planner is getting thing's lined up to build 64 houses located between Whitegates Grove, Penistone Road, Clough Park and Woodsome Drive.There has been a big change from 100% affordable housing to now 80% private & 20% affordable housing.

I have done a video highlighting the green space development update, which has been posted in Lepton & Fenay Bridge Facebook Groups. Please have a look if you have not already done so.

I continue to campaign on this local issue with local residents via leaflets, Facebook, emails, phone, meetings, this petition&Huddersfield Examiner. I continue to work with Lepton Ward Cllrs Bob Smith & James Spivey .
