Thank you to everyone that signed this petition. We presented it to Maidstone Council. However the future of our local Lenham railway station is still not safe. Maidstone Council and Homes England are still looking at options to build a new station at the proposed Heathlands development and one option is to close the existing Lenham station as a result.

We are continuing to fight this and have launched a High Court legal challenge to quash the newly adopted Maidstone Local Plan.
