Hi all,

Thank you to everyone who has signed the petition, donated, and continued to support Leach. We have officially surpassed 1,000 signatures! It is wonderful to see this level of community support.

Leach recently shared a thoughtful update from their Executive Director, Eric Vines, which you can read here: A Message from our Executive Director. The great news is that Leach will remain open through June 30th! While community fundraising has met the short-term goal, they are now working to secure long-term funding to bridge the annual budget gap.

A few quick updates:

- Updated Poster: I have updated the poster to reflect the current hours: Thursday–Sunday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Petition Status: Although we reached the immediate funding goal, I am keeping the petition open to show continued support. (Have you emailed our mayor? Mayor@portlandoregon.gov)
- Budget Survey: If you live in East Portland, please consider completing the budget survey from Councilor Avalos by March 13th.

It was great to see a full parking lot when I visited the garden over the weekend!
